Confidence:

We believe a student will learn more quickly and have more fun when they are confident and not stressed. Our training takes you gradually from our gently sloped training hills to our higher sites, then on to soaring and cross country sites at the pace appropriate and comfortable for each individual student.

Confident Launches:

Launching a paraglider is usually the most challenging skill for the new student, and unnecessarily, continues to be a source of stress for many certified pilots. We take advantage of our ideal training hills to hone your launch skills with plenty of repetition so you’re confident in your launches no matter where you’re flying. Aerial graduates are widely recognized for their confident and competent launches.

Confidence in your wing:

Knowing your glider is one of the most important aspects of flying. We emphasize kiting (handling your glider on the ground), for students and experienced pilots alike, as a way to develop not just launch skills, but a finely tuned “feel” for the glider while in the air. It’s also a fun activity in and of itself.

Confidence in flight:

Of course to really learn how to soar, thermal and fly cross country, you need to spend time in the air. But if you’re stressed at launch, stressed in the air and stressed about landing, you won’t be able to concentrate on the wonders of flight, the clouds, the air, the thermals and the incredible aerial views.
